Ken Blackburn holds a BFA from Queen’s University and an MFA from the University of Windsor. His art is multi-disciplinary, interested in exploring the nature of pattern, or underlying energies that animate and articulate daily experience. With a background in sculpture Blackburn works through a broad spectrum of mediums and environments. His involvement in social practice has a focus on the role of cultural institutions within community development.
Ken Blackburn is the Executive Director for the Campbell River Arts Council and the Public Program Manager for the Museum at Campbell River. He has worked and travelled extensively around the world.
